Asheville Art Experience - $65 per person
Experience the River Arts District! Asheville's River Arts District was recently named the best art district in the nation by USA Today. Enjoy a curated tour experiencing some of the best studios in the District. With over 500 artists represented in the River Arts District, Asheville Art Experience was founded by a River Arts District artist, and has been connecting visitors to the River Arts District for over 10 years. In this "RAD" Exploration you will get the insider's experience learning history of the area, connecting with artists, seeing art in multiple mediums, and getting a great overview for future exploration as well. French Broad Chocolate Tour - $25 per person
This Bean to Bar Chocolate Factory Tour incudes a classroom session and about the history of French Broad Chocolate, an overview of cacao farming, a chocolate tasting experience, and a guided viewing of the chocolate factory where guests explore each step of the chocolate-making process, from the roasting of the cacao bean to the tempering of chocolate bars. During the tour, guests will taste cacao in several forms-roasted bean, bar, and bonbon! You'll compare and contrast flavor notes in samples of three chocolate bars. (Max 25)
Biltmore House Tour - $80 per person
A self-paced, immersive walk through tour of America's largest privately owned home using a curated audio guide. You will explore three floors and the historic basement, taking in grand spaces like the 70-foot-ceiling Banquet Hall, the massive two-story Library, and the estate’s famous indoor bowling alley and swimming pool. This tour also grants you full access to the surrounding 8,000-acre estate, which includes the historic Frederick Law Olmsted gardens, Antler Hill Village, and the Biltmore Winery. Parking is complimentary. (Max 30)
Glass Center Demonstration & Tour - $20 per person
Based in Asheville’s River Arts District and downtown Black Mountain, the North Carolina Glass Center is a non-profit studio and gallery dedicated to supporting emerging and established Western North Carolina glass artists. During this tour, you'll step into the hot shop to watch a professional artist gather 2,100°F molten glass and shape it using traditional techniques, all while learning about the history of glassmaking and the science of thermal shock and viscosity. Afterward, feel free to explore the working hot and flame shop spaces at your own pace, chat with gallery associates, and browse original handmade pieces in the gallery.
Gray Line Trolley Tour - $45 per person
A dedicated group tour around the historical districts. Hop on board of Gray Line's nostalgic classic trolleys through Asheville for a fully narrated journey, highlighting the history, homes and hot spots of the city of surprises! (Max 34)
Innovation Lab @ Renaissance Hotel (Free!)
