NC State University - Centennial Campus

Higher Ed

Centennial Campus is NC State University's award-winning research campus, home to more than 70 corporate, government and nonprofit partners who work alongside an equal number of academic departments. Centennial provides a rich, collaborative environment for companies who want to tap into NC State's recognized expertise in areas such as cybersecurity, comparative medicine, advanced materials, biomedical engineering, serious gaming, distributive energy, and many other fields. Located five minutes from downtown Raleigh, the 1,200-acre scenic environment is home to the university's College of Engineering, Wilson College of Textiles and College of Veterinary Medicine. Key amenities include a championship golf course, 75-acre lake, miles of walking trails, a hotel and conference center, and private housing communities. In the heart of the campus is the iconic James B. Hunt Jr. Library, which has won numerous awards for its architectural design and technology features – including a robotic book delivery system. In order to lease space on the campus, a prospective "partner" must intend to collaborate with NC State, such as collaborative research with a faculty member or providing student internships. Situated just south of NC State's main campus, Centennial is adjacent to Dix Park and surrounded by open green space overlooking the city skyline.
